YHWH Nailgun Nashville Concert reviews
Lindsey Stirling could have been much better.
Miss YHWH Nailgun is incredibly talented. Personally, my wife and I could not see her many times. She needed more front lighting or a follow spot. The volume was too high and the lighting was poor. She works in professional theater and would agree. I wanted to see her face. I did not like the look of the two male dancers. Their skill set was a C+ and they were distracting and totally not necessary. It was wonderful that she chatted a bit with the audience and also showed her childhood video. After a while, her choice of songs started to sound "all the same". It would have been nice if she incorporated some good old fiddle favorites, arranged to her dub-step style. Perhaps something Irish or Scottish, or perhaps early Americana Western. We left early because it all sounded the same after a while.
